The St. James Outreach House is located at 3814 Germantown Pike in Collegeville on the opposite side of Evansburg Road than the St. James Church itself. Our goal is to serve members of our local community who are struggling and in need of some assistance with food all year round. We currently have over 75 families we serve. We provide a bag of groceries to each of these families on a monthly basis as well as clothing, linens, toys, a variety of households items. We do not able to provide monetary assistance. At Christmas, we provide presents and a Christmas food box. Most of our clients pick up these items directly at Outreach but we do deliver to clients without transportation. Clients are referred to our program by an agency who can verify they are in need of assistance. The majority of the items that we provide our families are received through donations from the community (boy scout and school food drives) as well as our church. We have a small budget to supplement what we do not receive through donations. We have been serving the local community since 2001. Phone number: 610-489-3481.
